Fernsehturm Berlin was constructed between 1965 and 1969 by the German Democratic Republic government to facilitate television and radio broadcasting. It was also intended to demonstrate East Germany’s technological prowess during the Cold War era. Designed by architect Hermann Henselmann, the 368-metre-high structure is the tallest building in Germany and one of the tallest in the European Union!

Getting to the Berlin TV Tower:
Wheelchair users and people with limited mobility are unfortunately not able to enter the Berlin TV Tower.
The tower's design and structure render it unsuitable for the movement of wheelchairs and those who require assistance to move. Emergency evacuation procedures involve staircases, which are not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Hence, to ensure everyone's safety and due to the lack of accessibility measures, this attraction is not accessible for those who use wheelchairs or have impaired mobility.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located on the ground floor of the Berlin TV Tower.
Elevators: Visitors can use the elevators to get to the top of the tower.
