Tips for enjoying the VR experience

  • Choose the right season: Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) offer mild weather, clearer skies, and fewer crowds. Winter has fewer visitors, but fog or snow can reduce visibility. From June to August and around Christmas, tickets sell out quickly. Reserving online ahead of time avoids long waits or disappointment.
  • Go early or late to avoid peak times: Weekdays, especially Tuesday to Thursday, are usually quieter. Early mornings (before 11am) or late evenings (after 7pm) give a more relaxed experience.
  • Consider sunset slots carefully: Sunset after 6 pm offers spectacular views but is also the busiest time, especially from May to September. For a quieter experience, plan your visit before 11 am or between 12 and 3 pm.
  • Do the VR experience first: Watching the VR journey before heading to the observation deck makes the skyline and landmarks more meaningful when you see them in real life.
  • Morning visits give the clearest views: Early hours often have better light and less haze, which makes the city panorama sharper and more enjoyable.
  • Consider evening dining: Booking a table at Sphere restaurant after your VR and deck visit lets you enjoy Berlin’s skyline with fewer people around, as many day-trippers have left.

The booked entry time is not checked, so there were many more people waiting. The security check takes quite a long time. The view is spectacular and worthwhile in good weather. The price is steep. The service at the Sphere Bar on the viewing platform was extremely friendly 🙂

Checking in was just like at the airport, so security was very important. The food was very tasty, even if the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. But we could see the sunset in the restaurant when our table was facing west. Unforgettably beautiful.

We had a great time... it was a feeling of having a unique experience, difficult to repeat... sitting in this restaurant hundreds of meters high, seeing below you a wonderful city in all its angles enjoying dishes unrepeatable elsewhere trying to catch nuances and flavors... very nice... the tower is also a brilliant monument that shows you at every gradation of the circumference what you can see from that point, a museum of the whole city
