Validity:

Validity:

- For the 72h variant, a time must additionally be selected. The 4, 5 and 6 day passes are each valid for the entire calendar day. During the selected validity period, the ticket entitles you to a one-time use of the respective inclusive service or discount per participating service provider.

It was very easy to get around Berlin without having to purchase and validate public transport tickets.
As the public transport system is trust-based, there are no turn stiles or barriers to get on board trains, trams or buses. We encountered ticket inspectors quite often, so it is best to have the Berlin Welcome Card ticket QR code on one's phone. Really a hassle free way to get around Berlin.
