  • Please remember that your ticket can only be validated in printed form. So, after receiving your digital tickets in your mail, print out a hard copy and carry it with you.
  • To access discounts on attractions and other services, you must show your ticket to each discount partner before availing of the discount.
  • Traveling with kids? We’ve got great news for you! Up to three children (between the ages of 6 and 14) can ride for free on an adult’s ticket. And any number of little ones under 6 can travel for free with any adult ticket holder.
  • Your dogs and any luggage you carry with you can travel free of charge.
  • The Berlin Brandenburg (BER) airport, as well as the city of Potsdam, are in the tariff area C. The tariff zones A and B cover the Berlin city area. So if you need to get to the airport or Potsdam, purchase the Berlin WelcomeCard Zone ABC.
  • Make sure to dress according to the weather. Berlin can get quite chilly during the winter, so carry a coat or scarf to avoid the chill. In the summer, dress in light cotton and linens, and don’t forget your sun protection.
